Ken Lowe, 58, was elected chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer of Scripps Networks Interactive Inc. in 2008. Previously Lowe was president and chief executive officer of The E. W. Scripps Company (Scripps) from October 2000 to June 2008 after being named president, chief operating officer and a director in January 2000.
