GAC’s ‘Road to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo’ Goes Behind the Scenes With World’s Top Cowboys


NASHVILLE, TENN. --January 28, 2013 – Great American Country’s new Road to the Wrangler NFR series (Sundays, 5:00 p.m./ET) offers 32 original programs with a mixture of content from five separate rodeo themes  – Best of the 2012 Wrangler NFR, 2013 PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour, Championship Rodeos, Champions Challenge and PRCA Magazine.  Die-hard fans and those new to the sport will be treated to interviews with the sport’s biggest champions, updates on standings and behind the scenes highlights from top rodeos around the country.  GAC’s Suzanne Alexander will offer up close and personal interviews with the sport’s top stars.
Fans will be entertained and educated on all aspects of this adrenaline-fueled sport including:
Best of the 2012 Wrangler NFR:  a look inside each 2012 NFR event leading to the battle for 2012 World Championship.  Episodes will feature champs Luke Branquinho, Cody Teel, Tuff Cooper and Kaycee Feild.
2013 PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour:  The PRCA’s premier bull riding series attracting the sport’s best at marquee events including San Antonio, Rapid City, Fort Mojave, Cody and Reno to name a few.
Championship Rodeos:  Competition from the top 2013 rodeo events including the Ram National Circuit Finals and the Justin Boots Playoffs will be featured and are crucial in the race to qualify for the 2013 Wrangler NFR.
Champions Challenge:  An all new event for 2013, all eight PRCA World Champions including Trevor Brazile, Kaycee Feild, Luke Branquinho, Chad Masters, Jade Corkill, Jesse Wright, Tuf Cooper and Cody Teel have committed to be a part of these cutting-edge made for TV rodeos. This is a single-round rodeo with the wins going to the fastest times and highest scores.  Featuring 10 top competitors in each event , it is the only rodeo event of its kind.

We also feature the best in 2013 PRCA XBulls and championship rodeo competition from across the country. We are most excited about the new Champions Challenge. “
