Julie Elliott, 53, is senior vice president of compensation and benefits for Scripps Networks Interactive Inc. Prior to assuming this position, Elliott was corporate compensation director for The E.W. Scripps Company (Scripps) since 2003. She is responsible for employee health care and retirement benefits, executive compensation and corporate-wide compensation strategy.
Elliott has more than two decades of experience working with compensation and benefits issues. Before joining Scripps, Elliott was a principal with Mercer Human Resources Consulting.
Elliott is a certified compensation professional and serves on the faculty of World at Work and is a member of the East Tennessee Compensation and Benefits Association.
She has a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics from the University of Cincinnati and a master's in business administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati. She also attended The Ohio State University and Marshall University.
