Each year, Scripps Networks Interactive employees worldwide take a day out of their busy schedules to leave their desks and donate their time to worthy causes within their communities.
Clad in their “Change the World” shirts, employees dispersed to a variety of non-profits doing everything from clearing trails in our National Parks to cooking meals at homeless shelters. In 2012, the Knoxville-based human resources department, shown here, got down to business at the local Second Harvest Food Bank sorting hundreds of pounds of donated goods that would be distributed to families in need.
In addition to corporate financial support and involvement, many of our employees serve on non-profit boards, as advisors at educational institutions and as enthusiastic volunteers. Together we truly are changing the world.
