In this role, Arroyo will guide the company's adherence to all applicable laws and regulations worldwide, including oversight of the company's Code of Ethics, policies and reporting tools. He also will continue to supervise the internal legal teams that provide support for litigation, intellectual property, data security and privacy, labor and employment, ratings research and bankruptcy. Arroyo, who joined Scripps Networks Interactive in 2004, previously served as Senior Vice President, Legal Affairs and Internal Audit.

(NYSE: SNI) board of directors has increased the quarterly dividend rate and declared a dividend of 25 cents ($0.25) per share up from $0.23.
